The Tokyo Metropolitan Government certifies companies that promote sports activities among their employees and make social contributions in the field of sports as "Tokyo Sports Promotion Companies."
The program is open to companies in Tokyo that are implementing one or more initiatives to encourage employee exercise and health promotion, such as exercise at the start of work or walking events.
In fiscal year 7, 427 companies were certified, bringing the total number of promoting companies to 656.
