Para sports seminar

With the aim of developing key people in the promotion of parasports in the region, we will hold seminars that will serve as an impetus for implementing parasports projects.

• The Parasports Seminar (for municipal employees, etc.) is scheduled to be held around June 2026.
• The Parasports Seminar (for teachers and staff) is scheduled to be held around July 2026.
• The Parasports Seminar (for medical and welfare professionals, etc.) is scheduled to be held around December 2026.
• The Parasports Seminar (for sports promotion committee members, local sports club officials, etc.) is scheduled to be held around February 2027.

Parasports Instructor Training Seminar

We train human resources who will actually provide guidance and support in the field of parasports, and promote parasports initiatives in the region.

• The introductory training course for parasports volunteer instructors is scheduled for July and August 2026.
• The Intermediate Parasports Volunteer Instructor Training Course is scheduled to be held from November 2026 to January 2027.

Project to revitalize activities of parasports personnel

Through a portal site for information on volunteering in sports for people with disabilities, which connects individuals who want to volunteer with organizations that are looking to recruit volunteers, we will promote the activities of instructors and volunteers working in Tokyo.
In addition, we will hold the "Tokyo Metropolitan Parasports Volunteer Training Course" for those with no experience or limited experience in parasports volunteering, the "Community-Based Instructor Training Program" to cultivate leaders who will be central to their communities, and the "Parasports Forum" where parasports instructors and others will gather, in order to improve the quality of personnel involved in parasports.

• The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Para Sports Volunteer Training Course is scheduled to be held three times: in August, November, and January 2027.
