In 2025, Tokyo will host the World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics, marking another sports year.
We would like to inform you that the "TOKYO FORWARD 2025 Symposium" will be held on Wednesday, September 2th, two years before the Tokyo 9 World Championships in Athletics.

At the symposium, we will welcome athletes who participated in the Budapest 8 World Championships in Athletics, which was held in Hungary from August 19th (Saturday) to August 27th (Sunday), as guests, and share the excitement of sports by looking back on the tournament. We will continue to raise expectations for the Tokyo 2023 World Championships in Athletics.In addition, through a panel discussion with experts and athletes who have participated in the Deaflympics (Deaflympians), we will think about the significance that international sports competitions bring to cities.

Budapest 2023 World Athletics Participation!It has been decided that Nozomi Tanaka and Toshikazu Yamanishi, who represent Japan's track and field world, will appear!We will talk about the behind-the-scenes story of the excitement immediately after the tournament.
