Now that the results of the Games are being felt, we have compiled the ``TOKYO Sports Legacy Vision'' to show how we can utilize them to promote sports in the future and make them take root in the city.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will seize the opportunity to use the results obtained from the tournament to make Sports Field Tokyo a reality.

Despite the impact of the new coronavirus, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games was an overwhelming success for the athletes, the people of Tokyo and Japan, and the people of the world.The Games also created a much-needed legacy for host city Tokyo.This will contribute to improving sports participation in Tokyo.

I congratulate the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on this great achievement and welcome the city's vision to further promote sports activities in the city and build on this legacy.
