The Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Achievement Award Ceremony for 2025 was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Hall.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Achievement Award recognizes the achievements of individuals or groups who have contributed to the spread and development of sports and recreation in Tokyo.
31 individuals and 27 organizations were awarded for their contributions to sports, and certificates of commendation were presented to each award recipient by Tomohide Watanabe, Director of the Sports Promotion Headquarters, who was in attendance on the day.

In his speech, Director General Watanabe praised the award recipients for their long-standing contributions to the promotion of sports, and mentioned this year's World Athletics Championships and Deaflympics, asking for their continued cooperation in realizing a "Sports Field Tokyo" where sports are integrated into everyday life through these international competitions.
In addition, Mr. Katsura Enyo, Chairman of the Tokyo Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities, a public interest incorporated association, gave a congratulatory speech on behalf of the guests, followed by a speech of thanks from Mr. Koichiro Hasegawa, Executive Director of the Higashimurayama City Sports Association, a public interest incorporated association, on behalf of the award recipients.
