23 Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony
On October 23, 23, the XNUMX Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Hall.
This award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions to sports by supporting the sports activities of Tokyo residents, and to related organizations that have contributed to the spread and development of sports in Tokyo, in recognition of their longstanding achievements.
Inheriting the spirit of the historic Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education Awards that began in XNUMX, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Sports Achievement Award was established in XNUMX by the Tokyo Governor.
In FY23, the fourth year of the award, XNUMX people were awarded the award as Persons of Merit in Sports and XNUMX organizations were awarded as Organizations of Merit in Sports, and a certificate of commendation was presented by Director General of Sports Promotion Hosoi.
