22 Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony
On October 22, 22, the XNUMX Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Hall, Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building.
This award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions to sports by supporting the sports activities of Tokyo residents, and to related organizations that have contributed to the spread and development of sports in Tokyo, in recognition of their longstanding achievements.
Inheriting the spirit of the historic Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education Awards that began in XNUMX, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Sports Achievement Award was established in XNUMX by the Tokyo Governor.
In fiscal 22, the third year of the award, XNUMX people were awarded the award for their contributions to sports, and XNUMX organizations were awarded the award for their sports contributions, and a certificate of commendation was presented to them by Hosoi, deputy director of the Sports Promotion Bureau.
