21 Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony
On October 21, 21, the XNUMX Tokyo Sports Achievement Award Ceremony was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Citizens Hall.
This award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions to sports by supporting the sports activities of Tokyo residents, and to related organizations that have contributed to the spread and development of sports in Tokyo, in recognition of their longstanding achievements.
Inheriting the spirit of the historic Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education Awards that began in XNUMX, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Sports Achievement Award was established in XNUMX by the Tokyo Governor.
In 21, the second year of the award, XNUMX people received awards for their contributions to sports, and XNUMX organizations received awards for their contributions to sports, and they were presented with certificates of commendation by Director Akiyama, Director of the Life Culture and Sports Bureau.
