We would like to introduce the characters who support the activities of the support team.

We are looking for mascots from local governments and other organizations to join the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team.

  Characters of local governments, etc.
• Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team Activities
  　The Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team will promote the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, build excitement and support deaf athletes.
  　The Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team will be appearing at sporting events, in newsletters, on websites and on social media to promote the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, and we ask for your cooperation in promoting the Games in various ways.
  　Characters who join the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics Support Team will be given a tournament emblem sheet that can be affixed to their costumes.

Q1: What should I do if I become a supporter?

A2025: In order to help promote the Tokyo XNUMX Deaflympics from all over the country, we would like you to take part in activities that will promote the tournament and build enthusiasm in your local areas as a supporter team.

　As specific examples, we are considering the following initiatives, and we ask for your cooperation to the extent possible.

• Characters appear as cheer squads at local sporting events to promote the tournament.
• The characters will appear as cheering squad members in articles promoting the tournament in magazines and other publications.
• Use character images to promote the tournament on social media

　We may ask for your cooperation in posting simultaneously as a support team a certain number of days before the tournament.

When posting on social media, we ask that you use the common hashtags. By searching the common hashtags "#Tokyo2025Deaflympics" and "#DeaflympicsSupportSquad" on social media, you can see posts about the activities of various support teams.

Q2 How should I use the tournament emblem sheet?

When working as part of the A2 cheering squad, please attach the characters to their costumes so that it is clear that they are part of the cheering squad. For each character, we will provide one set of large, medium and small tournament emblem sheets.
Please use the emblem sheet in a way that suits the shape and material of the item. (For example, make a hole in the emblem sheet, thread a string through it and hang it around the character's neck, or attach it to the character with masking tape, etc.)

• What is "Yuriito"?
  He was created as a character for Sports Festival Tokyo 2013, and has since been active in a wide range of sporting events in the city as a Tokyo sports promotion ambassador.
• About Yurito Deaflympics Design
  We had Yurito wear a cherry blossom colored T-shirt to match the tournament emblem, which has a cherry blossom petal motif.

Application for permission to use the official mascot for the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, "Yuriito"

Advance application is required to use the official mascot of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, "Yuriito."
It can be used after examination by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and permission for use is obtained.

Incidentally,The approval process takes approximately two weeks after your application is received.We are currently receiving a large number of applications for the tournament.Please contact us as soon as possible regarding your application.
