[Near the Tokyo Marathon finish area]
11:10-15:45: Hibiya venue (in front of Hibiya International Building, Hibiya Park)
10:00-13:00 or 12:30-16:00: Tokyo Station or Imperial Palace Outer Gardens
*All times are tentative.
*The meeting time is scheduled to be 30 minutes before the activity starts. The group will finish about 15 minutes after the activity ends.

◆Lunch and transportation costs

Lunch will not be provided. A 1,000 yen QUO card will be provided to cover transportation costs to the activity location on the day.

◆ Clothes to wear during activities

Please wear comfortable clothing for the activity. The activity will be outdoors. Low temperatures are expected, so please keep this in mind before applying. The secretariat will not provide any cold weather gear or supplies. Please also bring your own raincoat in case of rain (you will not be allowed to participate in the activity with an umbrella).

• Please apply for your preferred time slots on the application form. Multiple selections are possible.
• Activity times may vary depending on the activity. (There may be breaks in between, and the time may change depending on the actual operation.)
• The location and content of activities will be assigned by the TOKYO CHEER 2026 Secretariat.
• In principle, the event will be held rain or shine. If it rains, tents will be set up at the venue depending on the rainfall situation.
• Details such as meeting time and location will be explained at the "TOKYO CHEER 2026 Volunteer Information Session" to be held separately.

TOKYO CHEER 2026 Volunteer Information Session

An information session will be held for those selected as TOKYO CHEER 2026 volunteers.

Date and Time

Sunday, February 8, 2 1:16-30:17 (scheduled)

Place

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, 1st floor, Citizens' Hall

• Registration will open 30 minutes before the start of the information session.
• The information session can also be attended online. In addition, we will provide an archived version of the session for those who are unable to attend on the day.
• Successful applicants will be contacted separately with details about the information session.

Points to note

• Please note that this volunteer opportunity is different from the Tokyo Marathon 2026 volunteers being recruited by the Tokyo Marathon Foundation. Please note that applications for this opportunity cannot be made in conjunction with the Tokyo Marathon 2026 volunteer opportunity.
• Please use public transportation on the day.
• Event insurance will be provided by the event organizer. There is no personal cost. However, if you do not follow the organizer's instructions or if they are deemed inappropriate, the insurance will not apply.
• There may be filming for the city's records and media coverage. Additionally, images and footage of activities and viewings may be used on websites, television, documents, press releases, etc.
• The results of the lottery will be notified by email around January 22nd, 2026.
