Regarding the results of the “Awareness Survey on Sports for People with Disabilities”

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is conducting a survey on the awareness of sports among people with disabilities aged 18 and over living in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We conducted the ``Awareness Survey on Sports for People with Disabilities'' with the aim of understanding the achievement status of the percentage of people (30 years and older) who participate in sports at least one day a week (3% by 18).We would like to inform you that we have compiled a summary of the survey results as shown below.

The total number of respondents, including the respondents themselves and people with disabilities in their families who live with them, was 1,366 people (among those registered as monitors on the Internet market, people with disabilities living in Tokyo who are 18 years or older or whose family members live with them). (The survey targets were those who had one.)

1% of people participated in sports or exercise at least one day a week, and 32.4% did not participate in sports or exercise at least one day a week.
