International sporting events bring great value, such as nurturing the dreams and hopes of children and accelerating progress towards a society of coexistence. In 2025, the World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics will be held in Tokyo.
In order to pave the way for Tokyo's future through the power of sports, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has set out a vision for the city's vision through these two games and has formulated guidelines for how to achieve this vision.
