5 Disaster Area Exchange Project through Sports (Miyagi Prefecture)
Women's Soccer CAMP in MIYAGI was held!

December 25 2025

We invited U-12 female soccer players from Tokyo, Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures to a soccer camp (exchange through soccer) in Miyagi Prefecture. In line with this, the next day, we held an earthquake-related and hands-on learning session at Ishinomaki City Earthquake Remains Monument Kadowaki Elementary School and other locations.

This summer, we were affected by the intense heat every day, so after consulting with the relevant parties, we changed the venue to a gymnasium with air conditioning equipment to prevent heat stroke, and held exchange games.

Ishinomaki City Earthquake Remains Kadowaki Elementary School

Ishinomaki City Earthquake Remains Kadowaki Elementary School has preserved part of the school building damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake, and is a facility that conveys the events and lessons learned from the earthquake, including the massive tsunami and tsunami fire. The players looked at the remains of the tsunami fire and listened intently to the guide's explanation. One player said, ``I learned what happened before I was born.''
