As a legacy of hosting the "WBSC Women's U-15 Softball World Cup 2023" last year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will implement the "Women's Softball International Exchange Project (hereinafter referred to as "this project")" with the aim of promoting and popularizing the sport of softball, improving the competitive ability of junior athletes, creating opportunities for international exchange, and promoting sports among children in general.

This is an event that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from softball fans to children and first-timers. This is your chance to watch the official games of teams that legendary players belong to and the U-18 international friendly games in Tokyo! We look forward to your participation (please see below for details).
The U-1 All-Star team from Southern California, USA, ranked number one in the WBSC women's softball rankings and hosting site of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, will come to Japan to play a friendly match against the Tokyo U-18 All-Star team.

Using rubber balls and simple tools, we will hold an event where you can experience the basic movements of baseball and softball, such as "hitting" and "throwing." Tokyo 2020 Olympian Yamada Eri and former Japanese national team member Nagasaki Nozomi will support the event as instructors.

You can experience BASEBALL3, which has been recognized as the "third sport following baseball and softball." The rules of BASEBALL5 are simple!
All you have to do is hit a rubber ball with your hands! It's a game for mixed teams, so parents and children can enjoy it together.

The JD.LEAGUE is the top women's softball league in Japan, and includes the Japanese national team players who won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. A total of 16 teams will be divided into the East and West Leagues, and each team will play 1 games (including 28 East-West exchange games) to determine the rankings.
We will introduce notable players from teams competing in the JD.League Round 11 Tama Round.

This project is part of the "Oshi Sports Project."
The "Favourite Sports Project" is an initiative to create opportunities for Tokyo residents to become familiar with a variety of sports in the run up to the IAAF World Athletics Championships and Deaflympics being held in Tokyo in 2025, and to help them discover the fun of sports that suit their individual tastes and characteristics (Favourite Sports) as they come into contact with the appeal of sports.
