We will jointly host the opening ceremonies for the Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Tournament and the Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Tournament for Persons with Disabilities, two of the largest sporting events in Tokyo.

This joint opening ceremonyCreate opportunities for people with and without disabilities to deepen their mutual understanding and exchange.This year marks the 24th time the event has been held annually since 12, as the World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics are being held, and we have prepared a program that will encourage further exchange through sports.

Please come along to the event. The event will also be streamed online on YouTube.

We are also looking for people who will be participating in the 26th Tokyo Paralympic Games and would like to take part in the entrance march at the joint opening ceremony. Please see below for details.

Details regarding coverage on the day will be announced around the end of April.
