In order to further increase the sports momentum that has increased in the wake of the Tokyo XNUMX Games, we will be holding a bicycle event and an event where the community can enjoy sports together in this year's waterfront area, where many legacy facilities are located.
Additionally, the executive committee (first meeting) to plan and manage this event will be held on April XNUMXth (Friday).
■Implementation date: November XNUMX, XNUMX (Wednesday/Holiday)
■Sponsor: Waterfront Legacy Sports Event Executive Committee
■Contents: “Bicycle event” and “Sports experience event that brings the community together”
In order to create a new attraction for Tokyo using bicycles, which are environmentally friendly and contribute to health promotion, we will hold a ``bicycle ride event'' where people will ride over Rainbow Bridge for the first time since its opening.
A criterium* where you can enjoy close competition close to the goal by professionals and youth, as well as acrobatic and powerful BMX demonstrations, etc. will be held.
*Criterium: Bicycle race around a course
Held trial sessions for para-competition handcycles and test rides for children's kick bikes.
Held "Sports Experience Events" that provide opportunities for a variety of sports experiences throughout the coastal area
In order to bring the whole community together to enjoy sports, we have prepared a number of sports spots that you can experience up close, including advanced sports that utilize DX technology such as virtual, para sports, and lesser-known sports.
Scheduled to be held simultaneously at multiple locations including parks, stations, and commercial facilities in the coastal area.
