High school students from the three disaster-stricken prefectures will be invited to participate in the Tokyo Marathon 3 (2018km)

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Association (Public Incorporated Foundation) are aiming to utilize the power of sports to give hope and dreams to the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. We will be inviting high school runners from the prefecture to the Tokyo Marathon 3 (2018km).

30 days and 2 night from Saturday, February 24th, 25 to Sunday, February 1th of the same month

4 Invited players

A total of 16 men and women who live in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures and are between 18 and 10 years old on the day of the race and can complete a 1km distance within 30 hour and 100 minutes. *Athletes recommended by each prefectural sports association.
