This year will see the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, making it an important year for me as I was born and raised in Tokyo. Last year, thanks to the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, I was able to set a new Japanese deaf record in the mile and achieve second best times in the 1m, 1m, and 800m. I was also able to win a bronze medal in the 1500m at the 3000th World Deaf Athletics Championships. In 5, I will continue to work hard to aim higher and grow as an athlete.
