After an accident in my childhood, I was no longer able to play ice hockey, which is what I had been doing, so I switched to para ice hockey. I will do whatever it takes to participate in the Milan Paralympics in order to show my gratitude to those who supported me through my results. There are many disabled athletes in Tokyo, and I am inspired by them, but to become a representative among them, you need strong determination and self-awareness. I will not lose the battle against myself, but will always reexamine myself and make an effort to win the final qualifying round for the 2026 Milan Paralympics, and participate in the event for the first time in eight years, leading the team as the ace of the Japanese national team.
