Ever since I started blind bowling, I have been working on improving my competitive ability as a para-athlete and nurturing my juniors with an eye on the prosperity of the sport, with a view to several years ahead. My goal this year is to win the All Japan Championships and bring home as many medals as possible from international competitions, and to perform well in major competitions and sing the national anthem! From the new fiscal year, I will be working with a personal trainer to focus on body balance and maintenance, working on building a strong body that is less susceptible to injury, and receiving direct instruction from a professional in terms of technique to further improve my skills. I will also focus on nurturing young people so that they can pave the way for my juniors. I will work hard, dreaming of the day when bowling will become an official Paralympic sport!
