As an athlete representing Tokyo this year, I would like to take the lead in spreading the word that this is a sport that even people with severe cervical spine injuries can take on, and I would like to do my best to gain support.
I hope to be able to convey the positive aspects of sports, which allow players to develop mental growth, such as perseverance and a positive attitude, through rigorous training. This season, I will continue to work hard every day to be able to perform well on the international stage as a representative of Japan and Tokyo.
