This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Even under the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tokyo 2020 Games
The sight of athletes honing their skills through rigorous training and delivering their best performance is,
It brought courage and inspiration to the people of Tokyo and the nation, and made us realize once again the power of sports.
Through this tournament, improvements will be made to the physical infrastructure, such as the development of sports facilities and the advancement of barrier-free access.
Many positive legacies, both in terms of intangible aspects and in terms of support for the Games, have emerged, such as increased interest in parasports and the contributions of volunteers who supported the event.
The numerous initiatives and values that were created in this way have taken on different forms as "legacies,"
It has been steadily passed down to the present day.

Location: Tokyo Midtown Atrium
Contents: Experience urban sports and other activities, talk events by athletes, greetings from the official tournament mascot, interactive content using digital technology, exhibition of archived assets, and more.

Date and time: Sunday, August 30, 2026
Location: Tokyo International Forum
Contents: Demonstrations and talk shows by para-athletes, and more.

We are currently opening a space where you can see exhibits of assets actually used in the Tokyo 2020 Games and experience the games using digital technology. Please enjoy this valuable archive that you wouldn't normally be able to see!

Edo-Tokyo Museum Archive Exhibition
The newly renovated Edo-Tokyo Museum in Tokyo has added some precious items from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics to its collection!
Enjoy the charm of Edo/Tokyo along with this!

Ariake Olympic and Paralympic Park
In the iconic area where the competition venues of the Games were concentrated, valuable Olympic and Paralympic symbols and other items are still on display!
(The symbol is located within Ariake Waterfront Park.)
We're also reusing the skateboarding and 3x3 basketball equipment from the tournament!

Symbols, mascot statues, and plaques for the tournament have been installed throughout Tokyo by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, related municipalities, and tournament venue owners, and are scattered in various locations!

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the tournament was postponed for a year for the first time in its history, but we were able to overcome the difficulties with the cooperation of many people.
